Elise had a very eventful Christmas! She traveled to SIX different Christmas celebrations--all this at only 3 weeks old! She got lots of great gifts and thanks everyone for thinking of her. Next up for the busy baby: 4 week professional pictures and starting 2009 with Mommy and Daddy on New Years Eve.

Merry Christmas from the Jacksons!

Elise is really in the Christmas spirit with her reindeer Christmas outfit! She's already attended 2 Christmases and has 4 more to go. She's lucky to have a lot of people who love her and are excited to see her! So far, she's gotten 2 new outfits, a hat, a glo-worm and a Pooh that squeaks like she does. She was very excited and thankful for all her gifts.

It's been pretty cold here in Missouri lately, but luckily Elise received this coat-sack from Great-Aunt Sis and Lydia at one of her showers, so she's stayed toasty and warm. Her little head barely sticks out, but she doesn't mind.

All the holiday fun has been a little tiring for Elise and for Daddy, so they decided to take a nap.

Mommy was still pretty swollen when this family picture was taken (Elise was only one week old!), but she is pretty much back to normal now and is starting to feel pretty good. Merry Christmas from the Jacksons!

Elise's Visits & Close-ups!

Grandpa Mike came by last night for a visit and we got this great shot of Grandpa, Daddy, and Elise.

Today, she's dressed in a pretty purple outfit and wrapped in the afghan that Aunt Amanda made her since she's going out on the town today: her first doctor's appointment. She is such a good baby, but still hasn't got the hang of sleeping much at night. We're sure that in time that will come :)

Elise Joann Jackson is HERE!!!

Elise Joann Jackson was born on Friday, December 5th at 6:36pm. She weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. Mommy had a rough time getting her here--had to have a C-section after a long day of nothing happening. Turns out that Elise was just too long for Mommy to deliver. She has been a very good baby thus far and we're so excited to have her home! Mommy realized when she was uploading her pics that she doesn't have any close-ups (besides the one below) of Elise's face. We'll be sure to get some posted soon!

Mommy Pregnant

According to Dr. Williams, our baby girl should make her arrival sometime around Thanksgiving. We go to the doctor on 11/26/08 and should be induced. The rest is up to Elise! In the meantime, here is a picture of Mommy when she was 7 1/2 mos pregnant, just before she the real swelling and discomfort began! She refused to post the picture taken a few days ago since she's all swollen and doesn't look like herself!
